Sunnydene Guest House – Terms & Conditions

Arrival & Departure

  • Rooms are available from 3:00pm on the day of arrival.
  • Check-out is by 10:00am on the day of departure.
  • Early check-in or late check-out may be available by prior arrangement.
  • If you expect to arrive later than 6:00pm, please let us know your estimated arrival time.

Payment & Deposits

  • A non-refundable deposit of £50 per room is required at the time of booking.
  • Full payment is due no later than 7 days before check-in.
  • Bookings made within 7 days of arrival must be paid in full at the time of booking.
  • We accept payment by debit card, credit card, or bank transfer. We do not accept cheques or cash on arrival.

Cancellations & No-Shows

  • Cancellations made 28 days or more before arrival will result in the loss of deposit only.
  • Cancellations made within 28 days of arrival will be charged in full.
  • In the event we are able to re-let the room(s), only the deposit will be retained.
  • Failure to arrive without notice will be treated as a cancellation and charged in full.
  • We strongly recommend that guests take out travel insurance to cover unexpected changes.

Guests & Visitors

  • Only registered, paying guests are permitted in bedrooms.
  • Visitors are welcome in the lounge and communal areas by arrangement but are not permitted to stay overnight unless booked in.

Smoking

  • Sunnydene is a strictly non-smoking property.
  • Smoking or vaping indoors will incur a £100 charge for additional cleaning.
  • Designated outdoor smoking areas are available at the front and rear of the property.

Pets

  • Well-behaved dogs are welcome by prior arrangement.
  • Dogs must not be left unattended in rooms (except briefly during mealtimes).
  • Pets are not allowed on beds or furniture.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage, extra cleaning, or replacement of bedding/towels caused by pets.

Parking

  • Off-road parking is available but limited and cannot be guaranteed.
  • All vehicles are parked at the owner’s risk.
  • Guests must park considerately to allow access for others.

Damages & Breakages

  • Please treat Sunnydene with care.
  • Guests are responsible for any damage or breakages they cause during their stay.
  • Minor accidents will not normally be charged, but significant damage may result in an invoice for repair or replacement.

Liability

  • Sunnydene does not accept liability for loss, damage, or injury to guests, their property, or vehicles, except where proven to result from negligence by us or our staff.

Privacy

  • Personal data provided during booking will be stored securely and used only for managing your reservation and guest record.
  • Payment details are not stored.
